Compared to last sale: The bulk of trades were for future delivery. Demand moderate. Today brought the first real relief from the heat, and the 10-day forecast offers additional encouragement, with some cooler days and slight chances of rain. CME futures have started to gain momentum this week with October live cattle gaining 5.00 and September feeder cattle gaining about 8.00. Supply included 96 percent from the South Central Region; 3 percent from the West region; and < 1 percent from the South East region. Current delivery is 14 days from the day of the sale and is up to and including September 24, 2026. Deliveries are current through February 2027. Many Dairy and Beef on Dairy cattle sold with an .80-1.00 dairy slide up or down.
